Is your program accredited?
Currently, Key Access Institute, LLC is in the process of obtaining approvals and getting accreditation for our programs.
Do you offer tutoring?
For the Surgical First Assistant Key Program, tutoring is available during Instructor Seminar/Review Events which occur during the first week of every quarter.
How much is the total cost?

Surgical First Assistant Prep Program:

This program is offered on a contractual basis and all fees are determined during at the time of contract negotiations.The basic tuition for a class size of 15 students is:

Are books included?

CE Seminars: Supplies or tools, if necessary, will be included in the cost of the seminar.
Surgical First Assistant Prep Program: Students have the option of either buying textbooks or borrowing them from the school’s library for the duration of the 4-week course.
International Surgical Bootcamp Program: Books (a combination of online and print versions) are included in the cost of tuition.
Surgical First Assistant Key Program: Books are not included.
Fundamental Operating Room Clinical Education: Books are not included.
Is financing available?

At this time, we do not offer financial aid, grants, or personal student loans; however, if you require finance assistance, we recommend seeking familiar financial establishments, such your local bank or credit union.
You may contact our Accounting Department for additional direction or guidance.
We are not affiliated with any financial institution nor receive any monetary reimbursements from associated businesses. Students are urged to evaluate individual funding options and select a reliable source that best serves them.
Do you have a payment plan?

For our Surgical First Assistant Key Program, we have two payment options:
$7,500.00, interest-free, paid in full at the time of enrollment, or;
Interest-free fixed monthly payments for 12 months at $650 per payment
For FORCE, tuition payments can be executed:
$10,000.00 (interest-free) in full at the time of enrollment, or;
Interest-free, fixed monthly payments for 12 months at $858 per payment. Adding $25 per payment to cover administrative and processing costs, totaling $300 or 3% of total tuition.
Where are you located?
Key Access Institute, LLC is located in Houston, Texas in the Southwest area. Our location is easily accessible via State Hwy 59 and from both major airports.

If I am from out-of-town, where is a close place to stay?
We have compiled a list of nearby, quality, long-term hotels that offer reasonable accommodations. These are found on our website on the “School/Resources/About Houston" page. If you require special housing, please feel free to contact our Admissions dept.
Where do I park?
Key Access Institute, LLC has visitor parking surrounding the building as well as an overflow parking lot.
General Admissions Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be 18 years or older
Successful candidates must either be exempt from taking TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or have passed TOEFL within the last 24 months
Special Admissions Requirements for Completion of All Programs
Internet access
Typing and basic computer skills
Internet browser understanding
Medical prerequisites as detailed in enrollment policies
Reading, writing, and communicating in English

KAI is dedicated to facilitating your advancement. That begins with the application and enrollment process.
Simply follow the steps below:
Determine which of our programs fit your goals. Visit the Programs and Seminars page for an overview of all programs. From there, click on the various program titles to view specific admission requirements and program details.
Download an application and email/mail it with the required supporting documentation to KAI, or fill out an application online. There is a $100 application fee per application per program.
Once your application is received, you will receive a confirmation email from Admissions. The application verification and review process typically takes one month minimum. Read the General Calendar Overview below for details on potential start dates of programs.
Once you receive notification of acceptance into a program, Admissions will work with you to determine your desired start date and assist you with filling out necessary enrollment and orientation documents.
